We are Casa del Sol Corporación, a network of artistic and institutional alliances—woven together since 2022—dedicated to designing projects that strengthen local culture and education within the community, with a particular focus on local children.
Since 2022, Casa del Sol has operated out of a rented space—a property that was once used as a site for illegal drug operations has been transformed into something far more than just a cultural center. Today, it stands as an open and safe space for the neighborhood's children, where they can learn, play, grow, and connect with one another every day.
Now, we aim to purchase the space where the project is currently located and where we have already invested in renovations and improvements. Otherwise, years of work and community support to build the space will remain in benefit of the landlord and not the community members.
Without a permanent home, the cultural memory of this community remains at the mercy of a volatile real estate market impacted by gentrification.The lack of a permanent home jeopardizes not only the project's architectural assets but also the cultural memory that is woven, day by day, within the Casa del Sol.

Established in 2022 in the "Heart of the World"—Palomino, Colombia—Casa del Sol is a community-driven sanctuary dedicated to preserving Afro-Caribbean identity and intangible cultural heritage. Our mission is to transform the lives of local youth and vulnerable populations through a multidisciplinary approach to education, artistic creation, and wellness-focused art therapy. By weaving a global network of supporters and partners, we provide essential support and a safe space for the emotional and physical development of the next generation. We invite you to join our family in securing a permanent home for this vital cultural hub and community center.
Join us for an interactive experience designed for groups interested in connecting with Colombian Caribbean culture and participating in impactful workshops that support our community. Experiences (including drum circle, dance workshops & hands-on instruction) are open to all ages, and require no prior musical experience.

Audio Book Production
Casa del Sol is proud to announce the upcoming May 2026 release of our premiere multidisciplinary audio-book, a year-long collaboration between master researchers, professional musicians, and the children of our community. This landmark project features original compositions recorded and mastered by our first generation of students, accompanied by immersive graphic artwork led by our rising second generation. By contributing to this launch, you are directly funding the physical production of this cultural seed, ensuring the talent born in the "Heart of the World" has a global platform to flourish.
